Abstract
The calibration of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) plasma detector on board Applications Technology Satellite 5 (ATS-5) has been used to determine the shape of the efficiency vs energy curve for channel electron multipliers. Results are compared with other workers with reasonable agreement. The measured efficiencies are well expressed in the range 1–50 keV by ε=1−{2/[3+6.5/(E−0.5)+30/(E−0.5)3]}.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
