Abstract
An apparatus was devised by means of which a gas and a liquid could be brought into equilibrium at any desired pressure up to 370 atm. and temperatures from 25 °C. to above 100 °C. Provision was made for the taking of samples of known volume from the liquid and gas phases in equilibrium. Analytical methods were developed to yield phase densities and compositions. Keywords
