Abstract
We have previously described our approach to the calculation of radiation induced signals in cables.1 Our computational approach has been incorporated in the computer code CHIC. In this note, we apply CHIC to several problems of current interest - the scaling of charge injection signals at high fluence, and the signals due to charge trapped in the cable dielectric. A simple conceptual model is presented which clarifies the most important features of these processes. Keywords
