Abstract
Interference functions have been obtained from alloys containing Cu-36 at% Ge, Cu-80 at% Ge and Cu-90 at% Ge at 660, 920 and 933 degrees C, respectively, by x ray diffraction. It has been found that the assumption of concentration independence of the partial interference function between copper and germanium, ICuGe(K), is not valid over wide differences of composition. As the concentration changes ICuGe(K) changes to become similar to the partial interference function of the pure component which has the largest atomic concentration. Keywords
