SECONDARY HAEMORRHAGE FOLLOWING TRAUMATIC HYPHAEMA

Abstract
Of 56 consecutively admitted patients with traumatic hyphema treated conservatively, 3 developed secondary hemorrhage. Of the following 64 patients treated with tranexamic acid, none developed secondary hemorrhage. Statistical analysis, using .chi.2 test with Yate''s correction showed no statistical difference with regard to the occurrence of secondary hemorrhage between the 2 groups.Keywords
