Abstract
Many signal processing systems rely on the efficient calculation of the discrete Fourier transform. The basic equations are manipulated to yield architectures to suit differing technologies and performance requirements. Finally a prime-radix transform algorithm is described offering very high performance that is ideally suited to present-day technology. Keywords
