Abstract
DDT, the methoxy analog of DDT, DDD, and Parathion were tested in the field against the oriental fruit moth and 2d brood curculio on peaches. Parathion and the methoxy analog of DDT showed promise against both insects. All of the treatments gave a marked reduction of oriental fruit moth over the untreated check. DDT was slightly more effective against the oriental fruit moth than the methoxy analog or DDD. There were no significant differences in the results from applying a dosage of 2 lbs. of a 50% wettable DDT in 2 applications and a dosage of 2 lbs. in the 1st application with 1 lb. in the 2d.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
