Abstract
Five species including Anoplodiscus australis Johnston, Udonella caligorum Johnston, Haliotrema spariensis Roubal, Allomurraytrema robustum, comb, nov. (Murray), and Benedenia anticavaginata, sp. nov. are recorded from four species of Australian bream, Acanthopagrus bufcheri (Munro), A. australis (Gunther), A. berda (Forskil), and A. latus (Houttuyn). Benedenia anticavaginata is described. Murraytrema robustum (Murray), and Allomurraytrema spari (Yamaguti) are synonymized with Allomurraytrema robustum, comb. nov., which is redescribed. Udonella caligorum is recorded from Caligus epidemicus Hewitt, the first such record in Australian waters. The distribution of U. caligorum on C. epidemicus is defined. The zoogeography and host specificity of all parasites is given. Keywords
