Abstract
The plasma levels for non-protein N and amino N after admn. of glycine were higher in vit. Bl2-deficient chicks than in Bl2-injected chicks. One g. of glycine, when force fed in gelatin capsules, was toxic to starved, B12-deficient chicks and less toxic to B12 -deficient chicks which had not been starved. Chicks which had been injd. with vit. B12 were able to withstand the glycine whether or not they had been without food. Keywords
