Temperature Dependence of Elastic Constants and Thermal Expansion for U

Abstract
The thermal expansion has been measured as a function of temperature for U and shows a first-order transition at the Néel temperature. Elastic constants versus temperature also display a first-order transition except for , which shows a lattice-spin effect 100° above the transition.
