Duality between Unidirectional Charge-Density-Wave Order and Superconductivity

Abstract
The existence of a duality between a unidirectional charge-density-wave order and a superconducting order is shown. This duality predicts the existence of a charge-density wave near a superconducting vortex, and the existence of superconductivity near a charge-density-wave dislocation.Keywords
