Rapid Generation of Amines by Microwave Irradiation of Ureas dispersed on Clay

Abstract
The use of ureas as equivalents of ammonia or primary amines by simple adsorption over montmorillonite K10 (dry media) and irradiation in a domestic microwave oven is exemplified by condensation with various carbonyl compounds (β-diketones, β-ketoesters, γ-diketones).
