Abstract
Two patients with inflammatory bowel disease who developed acute pancreatitis within 21 days of commencing treatment with 6-mercaptopurine are presented. Both were inadvertently reexposed to the drug and developed recurrent pancreatitis within 3 hr of a single dose.Keywords
