Abstract
Synthesis of primary precursor polyproteins of Rauscher leukemia virus (RLV) core and envelope proteins occurs in the presence of amino acid analogs canavanine and p-fluorophenylalanine, but cleavage of these precursors is severely inhibited or slowed down. After treatment with these agents, the release of characteristic virus or stable virus-like particles is greatly depressed. This publication has 24 references indexed in Scilit:
