Abstract
Study of the social structure of Soviet socialist society and of the qualitative changes that have occurred and are now occurring under the conditions of developed socialism is one of the most important prerequisites for deep and comprehensive scientific investigation of the principal patterns of development of the relationships among Soviet nations and nationalities and of their convergence in all respects.
