Abstract
To provide the best care for patients with spinalcord injury, it is necessary to establish special centers able to care for the patient from the moment of onset of injury through the rehabilitation process. If proper acute care is begun promptly, the necessity of correcting bed sores, urinary infection, pain, and contractures will be avoided. Keywords
