Abstract
Quasiperiodic ordering is studies in a GaAs-AlAs Fibonacci superlattice by high-resolution x-ray scattering. The data are consistent with the predicted dense set of diffraction vectors. Moderately large growth fluctuations in the sequential deposition of GaAs and AlAs layers do not appear to disturb seriously the quasiperiodic order. The effects of randomness are analyzed in a computer simulation. Keywords
