Effect of different foods on the acidity of the gastric contents in patients with duodenal ulcer: Part I A comparison between two `therapeutic' diets and freely-chosen meals

Abstract
Gastric acidity of 12 duodenal ulcer patients was no greater when they took a completely "free-choice" diet than when they took typical therapeutic diets conventionally advised for peptic ulcer. There was a trend towards slightly lower acidity during waking hours with the free-choice diet.Keywords
