Abstract
T. spiralis larvae were incubated aerobically in saline under axenic conditions. The saline incubates were concentrated and examined for amino acids by paper chromatographic techniques. The following amino acids were identified: glutamic acid, serine, glycine, alanine, tyrosine, valine, methionine, leucine, phenylalanine, and proline. Amines present in the incubates were shown not to interfere with the identification of the amino acids under the experimental conditions used. Keywords
