Abstract
A new sulphonation method is described according to which alkylhydroquinones can be converted into the corresponding alkylhydroquinone sulphonic acids. The method consists in allowing to react at room temperature sulphur trioxide with the alkylhydroquinone dissolved in dichloroethane.Keywords
