Abstract
Of the 101 samples of cord sera examined for lytic activity on normal and papainized adult erythrocytes, 67% lysed papainized erythrocytes. After heating to 56[degree]C, 88% showed lytic activity. This activity could be eliminated by heating sera to 80[degree]-100[degree]C for 30 minutes, and by dialysis against a physiological salt solution. Keywords
