Abstract
The effects of gangliosides on sciatic nerve regeneration after a crush injury in the rat was studied. After a temporary complete axonal conduction interruption, nerve conduction velocity was measurable on the 13th day. Damaged nerve conduction velocity was greater in the ganglioside-treated rats than in the control animals which were treated only with the solvent and reached significant values on days 15 and 18.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
