Abstract
In 1887 Hansen described a parasitic copepod, Gastroecus arcticus, taken from “a big Anthea” in the Kara Sea. This species may prove to be identical with the “Antheacheres-like” parasites, repeatedly mentioned by Carlgren as occurring in the sea anemones, Actinostola intermedia and A. spetsbergensis. Keywords
