Abstract
Female Anthonomus grandis Boheman are effectively sterilized for as long as 8 wk when dipped in acetone solutions of A13-63223 [1-(2,6-difluorobenzoyl)-3-[4-(trifluoromethyl) phenyl]urea]. This compound is superior to difiubenzuron from which recovery of fertility occurs after 2–3 weeks. Considerable reduction of reproduction also occurs with male boll weevils similarly treated with A13-63223.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
