The dipole moments of ortho-, meta-, and para-fluorobenzaldehyde were determined in dilute benzene solutions at 25 °C. The experimental data are in complete agreement with the conclusions reached by Wasylishen and Schaefer (1), viz. the O-trans conformer is the more stable conformer for ortho- and meta-fluorobenzaldehyde.
