Abstract
Pyrrolomycins C, D and E, new members of pyrrolomycins produced by Actinosporangium vitaminophilum SF-2080, were isolated by chromatography on a basic alumina column. The antibiotics have chlorinated pyrrole nuclei linked directly or via carbonyl function to the dicholorophenol moiety. Pyrrolomycins C and E were active against gram-positive bacteria; the spectrum of pyrrolomycin D included gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and fungi. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
