Abstract
This review describes recently introduced methods of coating colloidal particles and fabrication of hollow multilayer polyelectrolyte capsules. Diffusion through multilayer, Donnan equilibria for ions inside and outside hollow spheres and mechanical properties are given in quantitative aspects. Keywords
