Nail Pigmentation following Timolol Maleate Therapy

Abstract
A 56 yr old woman with an open angle glaucoma was treated with timolol maleate topically for 6 mo. The patient developed peculiar nail pigmentations of the fingers and toes which could not be related to vasospastic disorders. After withdrawal of the timolol therapy normal-colored nails grew.
