Modified Van der Waals theory of fluid interfaces

Abstract
A modified version of the Van der Waals theory of fluid interfaces is presented. The modified theory is shown to retain the qualitative simplicity of the original theory while yielding a much more quantitative description of fluid properties.Keywords
