Abstract
The effect of the addition of ethanol on the formation of the inclusion compound between β-cyclodextrin and pyrene in aqueous solution has been studied. Based on the time dependences of the fluorescence spectra of pyrene as a probe, the rate constants estimated for the inclusion and further association in the presence of ethanol have been discussed. Keywords
