Some direct measurements of edge capacitance

Abstract
The edge capacitance of an electrode system was measured in a 3-terminal bridge network, and was therefore determined directly, rather than as a small difference. Kirchhoff's formula was confirmed to within about 10%. The distribution of edge capacitance at various distances from the electrodes agreed with that predicted in a companion paper by Lynch (p. 934).
