Abstract
Ten male schizophrenic patients showing hypotension received, for 10 weeks, glycerin extract of adrenal cortex of beef, the dosage being increased from an equivalent of 100 grains to 450 grains of fresh gland per day. Results: increased systolic pressure; increased weight; increased r.b.c; early stimulation of renal function ; unsustained increase in O2 consumption rate; decrease in urinary N.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
