Abstract
A study of several models for the LEED one-electron potential is made, on a variety of surfaces, with special emphasis on their influence on structural determination. It is found that a close investigation of the model potential is necessary in each case if detailed comparison with experiment is required; but that the influence of the potential is not great enough to seriously affect structural determination. Keywords
