Abstract
The highest yield of tops and whole plants was obtained with solution R2S4, having, a partial volume-molecular concentration of 0.0045, 0.0090, and 0.0045 for KH2PO4, Ca(NO3)2, and MgSO4, respectively. Highest root yield was obtained with solution R2S3 which contained slightly less Ca(NO3)2 and more MgSO4. The water requirement values for roots and the N percentage in the tops and whole plants are higher in the 21 solutions studied than in the check solutions (Shive''s R5C2, 1.75 atm.), but the N percentage in the roots is lower. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
