Abstract
The clinical presentation of ameloblastoma is illustrated by 2 contrasting [human] cases. In 1 case the tumor was identified preoperatively; in the other it masqueraded as a dentigerous cyst. The importance of making a positive diagnosis and the need for a thorough histologic examination of excised tissue are stressed because this tumor is potentially disfiguring, and sometimes lethal if it is not adequately excised. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
