Abstract
In dogs, with a normal acid-base and cation state, a 50 Hz electric shock passed between a ventricular cather and the right leg has a minimum fibrillation threshold of 130 uA. Severe metabolic acidosis decreases the threshold to 100 uA, but hypoxaemia has no effect. Keywords
