Abstract
The current genetic research on C. elegans and the application of genetic techniques to the analysis of development and behavior [neurobiology, sexuality, muscle] in this animal are reviewed. An effort was made to point out the advantages that C. elegans offers for certain types of investigations and to point out the relevance of this work to other biological research areas. Keywords
