Abstract
Sympathectomized rats exhibited increased resistance to beat, and, in the [male], impotence, due to inhibited ejaculation, confirming Cannon et al. Estrous cycle (confirming Sweet and Thorp). maternal behavior, fecundation, and gestation were not affected by abdominal sympathectomy, but the young were born in 2 batches a few days apart, and normal milk secretion (confirming Cannon and Bright) did not occur after parturition. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
