Abstract
Methods for the synthesis of various three- to eight-membered heterocyclic ring systems utilising the ring transformation reactions of monocyclic and condensed 1,2-oxazole (isoxazole) derivatives are described in this review. 1. Three-membered Ring Systems 1.1. Saturated Rings 1.2. Unsaturated Rings 2. Four-membered Ring Systems 3. Five-membered Ring Systems 3.1. Rings Containing One Heteroatom 3.2. Azole Rings 4. Six-membered Ring Systems 4.1. Rings Containing One Heteroatom 4.2. Diazine, Oxazine, and Triazine Rings 5. Seven- and Eight-membered Ring SystemsKeywords
