Abstract
INTRODUCTIONImitation is a powerful mechanism for learning new skills. However, it involves an intricate interaction between perceptualand motor mechanisms, both of which are complex inthemselves. Recently, findings from neuroscience have discoveredso-called "mirror neurons", which directly couplethe observation of a certain movements and their motor execution[6]. We combine the notions of perceptual and motorroutines with the function of mirror neurons into primitives. The primitives...Keywords
