Abstract
Stimulation of intralaminar or midline thalamic nuclei, or of the posterior hypothalamus, immediately after each response, led to poor performance on the Hebb-Williams maze or a successive visual discrimination task in rats; stimulation 2¾ min. after response produced no effect. Posttrial stimulation of tegmentum or of frontal cortex appeared to have no effects upon performance. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)
