Spatial coherence of laboratory soft-x-ray lasers

Abstract
Employing a time-dependent model with counterpropagating beams and saturable gain, we calculate the degree of coherence for a range of x-ray lasers. From these results we infer a scaling law that can be used to estimate the degree of coherence of a general class of x-ray lasers.Keywords
