Abstract
An acetylcholine-like substance was extracted from uterus and placenta on the 16th, 22d, 28th and 31st days of pregnancy. In the uterus, it was highest at term, lowest on the 16th day and intermediate in conc. on the 22d, and 28th days of pregnancy and in oestrus. No change from the oestrous level was found during pseudopregnancy. In the rabbit placenta, this acetylcholine-like substance did not vary in any regular way. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
