Abstract
Results of experiments with continuous neutralisation of sulphuric acid with milk of lime have been used for the calculation of the nucleation and growth rates of calcium sulphate dihydrate. The treatment is based on experimental values of the mass of deposited crystals and of the supersaturation measured for varying experimental conditions. The data so obtained are compared with values published in the literature. Keywords
