Abstract
This paper describes critical multiplism from the perspective of the world views and models of scientific inquiry that frequently guide the work of nurse scientists. Nurse scientists may wish to consider critical multiplism as a research strategy within a dialectical model of scientific inquiry to study the multiple realities of interest to nurses. This approach to nursing knowledge development may enhance the usefulness of nursing research findings in nursing practice. Keywords
