Abstract
A review of the literature reveals little evidence that controlling plaque reduces and controls nifedipine‐induced gingival overgrowth. The case presented suggests that significant reduction and control of nifedipine‐induced gingival overgrowth can be achieved by thorough scaling and root planing along with meticulous plaque control. Keywords
