Abstract
An EBIS has been built to provide nuclei up to Ne10+ (1010 ppp) and polarized particles (3.1011 with storage). This EBIS uses a superconducting solenoid (3T, 1.5 m long). The electron density is higher than 103 A. cm-2 by space charge neutralization. Results of preliminary experiments show spectra with Ne10+, A18+ Kr34+ and Xe44+. Further applications of CRYEBIS are discussed. Keywords
