Abstract
An account is given of the variation in composition of bronze deposits with solution composition and operating variables. The conditions to ensure correct balance of anode and cathode efficiencies are discussed and the advantages of bronze plating compared with nickel and copper plating are reviewed. The use of potassium-based solutions is suggested and preliminary details of a lithium-based solution given. Keywords
