Abstract
We all want to make our own choices and most of us believe that we have the right to do so. But, to date, women receiving midwifery care have not had the opportunity to make informed choices, to be treated as equal partners in their care, or to have a range of facilities from which to choose. This article examines the current situation. Keywords
