Abstract
The effects of long continued exposure to SO2 inhalation was studied in contacts and controls. Comparisons were made as to age, wt., blood pressure, vital capacity, and radiographic findings. Of significance is the fact that the 122 contacts showed a better mean vital capacity than 129 controls, and that there was no evidence that their health was suffering as a result of exposure to SO2. No cases of active tuberculosis were found. The contacts had been exposed for 1-19 yrs. in a daily concn. from 0 to 25 ppm..Keywords
